We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) team. The role involves ensuring the efficient distribution of medicines, managing medical inventory, and supporting basic outpatient (OPD) functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records and supporting the delivery of healthcare services in rural and underserved areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescribed medications to patients accurately and as per doctor’s instructions
Maintain and update the stock register on a daily basis
Enter stock data into inventory management software
Regularly monitor and document expiry dates of medicines and ensure safe disposal
Assist in basic patient entries, documentation, and patient data maintenance
Support the OPD management activities in coordination with the medical team
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of medicines in the MMU
Maintain cleanliness and compliance with healthcare safety and hygiene standards
Coordinate with medical officers and staff for timely replenishment of medicine stock
Required Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm)
Valid Registration with the State Pharmacy Council
Basic computer proficiency for data entry and stock software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks on the field
Commitment to community healthcare and rural outreach
Additional Information:
This role is a part of a government-supported healthcare initiative, with the aim of making primary healthcare accessible in remote locations through Mobile Medical Units. Applicants must be comfortable with fieldwork and regular travel within assigned areas.
