The History behind CAMP

Community Action Through Motivation Programme- “CAMP” is a Non-Governmental Organization, working for overall development of society. CAMP has been registered in 2001 under Society Registration Act 1973. Since its inception we are involved in various activities like awareness generation, delivery of services on community need assessment, development of society mainly focusing on Sanitation, Safe drinking water, Adolescent health, Life skill education & RH services to school in and school dropout students, Target Intervention Projects, Nutrition’s, Gender Equality and equity, Education to all, primary health care services, orienting the Community to take the benefits of Government schemes and services and also sensitizing individual towards their duties for community and nation. We are motivating people and sensitizing them to use local resources in the optimum and effective manner for their betterment and eventually nation consequently ensuring them to make a responsible citizen and act as a catalyzer in society. Focusing on overall health of human resources, we are working on all segments of health i.e. physical, mental, psychological, social & spiritual health. Other than health we are working on determinants of health like Nutrition, Sanitation, vocational training, addressing Gender issues, acting as a bridge between the community and Government, delivering qualitative health services at the door of the community; last but not the least we are working with a motto to ensure qualitative health & developmental services to the community as per required and availability of resources, with an attitude of serving the Nation. Working as a resource organization under DAY-NULM, we have formed 610 SHGs and 54 CLFs in the old city of Bhopal in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Our 326 SHGs have been successfully linked with the bank. As on date, our group has privilege to operate 246 nos. of Mobile Medical Units in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Assam along with 164 Hearse Ambulances as Muktanjali Services known as 1099 ambulance services for the state of Chhattisgarh. We are operating more than 1800 ambulances including National Ambulance Service (108) and JSSK-102 with toll-free 108/102 call centers for the state of Uttarakhand, Tripura, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. We operate Mobile Veterinary Service with 381 MVUs and a 1962 toll-free call center for the Animal Husbandry Department, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and Directorate Animal Husbandry Rajasthan.
