CAMP GROUP is working in field of awareness and capacity building for Total Sanitation with Govt. of India and campaigning majorly with women for elimination of Open defecation in number of villages. The fact that, people are compelled to practice open defecation in the absence of proper toilet facilities, has been made an important base for the motivational campaign/ motive of Govt. of India is driving CAMP Group to be part of this important assignment. The result has overcome the embarrassment of woman shame, fear and anxiety of going to the open fields and It has ensured comfort and safety for the pregnant women, menstruating girls and adolescent girls. At the family level, latrines has reported to be safe for not only elderly people but they have also provided an alternative for hygienic disposal, which was otherwise dumped in the open.
